Students will be assigned to apartments in the Gypsum building of Poly Canyon Village. The majority of the apartments available have 4-5 bedrooms. Students will be in single bedrooms, sharing the apartment with other Quarter Plus students. Roommates and apartments will be assigned. Moving to Fall Housing Assignments
On September 7th or 8th, depending on Fall housing location, students will move into their housing assignments for the 2018-19 academic year. Move-in will be from 5-9 PM on the 7th and 9-5 PM on the 8th. Students will be asked to pack their belongings and load them into a moving cart. Students should drop off their cart at a location that corresponds with their destination. Housing staff will deliver carts to their new housing community where students can pick them up and move into their new room. LAs will be present to help students with the move. Details regarding this move will also be communicated with students. Because students will be moving mid-program, we encourage students to only unpack what is needed in their first housing assignment to make their second move even easier.
Mailing addresses will be available once housing assignments are finalized. This is expected to be by the end of July. There will be one general Q+ mailing address during the program. Students will be able to ship to their Fall Housing address approximately two weeks before fall move-in.
Quarter Plus students are not allowed to bring cars to campus. Freshmen are also not allowed to bring cars to campus Fall to Spring. Your PolyCard grants free SLO Transit bus service. For more transportation options, please see this page.Back to top
